Aesthete, gentleman, traveller, warrior, engineer and once upon a time photographer, farrier, truck driver, etc. Having finally been put out to pasture, he decided that television and Cheetos do not make a life. His interest in steampunk is primarily aesthetic - his interest in all things is primarily aesthetic.
Literature and film create strong reactions, positive and negative. Fashion remains an abiding interest, though not always apparent by his own dress. Hobbies include wandering the Black Hills with his trusty Norwegian Elkhound, Gretta, and developing handgun loads just shy of catastrophically destructive.
And he hates the self-centered practice of writing in the third person, yet continues, inexplicably, to do so.
